Barkly Stock Route – Upgrade + Seal CH8.3km to CH23.85km

Exact Contracting were engaged by the Department of Planning, Infrastructure and Logistics, Northern Territory to upgrade and seal the Barkly Stock Route from chainage 8.3 kilometres to 23.85 kilometres.

This included:

• Approximately 100,000BCM’s of import to fill earthworks
• Preparation of the subgrade surface
• Crushing and screening of local materials to create a type 2 gravel base
• Culverts
• Cement stabilisation of floodway’s
• Spray Sealing
• Road furniture and traffic control devices
